Welcome to the U.S. Government and Civics WIKI for students and teachers!

By navigating this site, you will find helpful resources regarding government and civics, elections, and the 2012 presidential candidates. The information on this site serves two purposes. First, it helps students gain an understanding of elections and the election process in preparation for running a schoolwide election. The information also provides students with potential research topics.

Students, browse the links that might provide information for the topic you chose, and work with your group members to complete the research. When you find resources that you want to use for your topic, write them down on page 9 of your Big6 Research Notebook. If you end up not using one of the sources you write down, you can later cross it out.

If you discover other appropriate websites and/or resources related to this project, you are encouraged to share with the WIKI creator for review. E-mail G. Harron with site additions and suggestions.
